Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the Digital Closet app ("the app", "we") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

• Account: your email and password (stored hashed) if you create an account. You can also use the app as a guest without an email.
• Wardrobe: photos of clothes and accessories you take or upload, plus details you enter such as name, category, color, brand, price and notes.
• Outfits and plans: outfits you create, your outfit calendar, trips, collections and wear counts.
• Full-body photo (optional): only if you use virtual try-on. It is kept in private storage that only your account can access.
• Approximate location (optional): when you allow it, to fetch the weather for outfit suggestions. We do not store a location history.
• Technical data: device type, app version, crash reports, usage analytics and a push notification token.

2. How we use your data

• To store and sync your closet and outfits across devices.
• To process images with AI: background removal, item detection, outfit suggestions (AI stylist) and virtual try-on.
• To send morning outfit suggestions and other notifications you turn on.
• To handle Luxe subscriptions, show ads to free users, fix bugs and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your photos to train AI models.

3. Service providers

• Supabase - account, database and photo storage.
• fal.ai - AI image processing (background removal, item detection, virtual try-on) and the language model behind the AI stylist. Photos are only sent when you use these features.
• Google Firebase - analytics, crash reporting (Crashlytics), push notifications (Cloud Messaging) and remote configuration.
• Google AdMob - ads for free-plan users; may use your device's advertising identifier according to your settings.
• RevenueCat, the Apple App Store and Google Play - Luxe subscription billing. We never receive your card details.
• OpenWeatherMap - receives your approximate location to return a weather forecast.

4. Storage and security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Full-body photos and try-on results live in private storage and are only reachable through short-lived links. Item photos are stored at hard-to-guess addresses tied to your account.

5. Your choices

• Edit or delete any item or outfit in the app. Deleted items stay in the trash for 30 days, then are removed permanently.
• Delete your full-body photo at any time from the virtual try-on screen.
• Turn off location, notifications or ad tracking in your phone's settings.
• Request deletion of your whole account and data by emailing nthienquang199x@gmail.com. We handle requests within 30 days.

6. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will update this page and let you know in the app.
